It has been suggested that WLA hold an event on the Labor Day Weekend to wrap up the season. The date would be Saturday, September 1, at 10:00.
The event would be Kayak Races at the north end of the lake and would be open to all ages. How it is to be organized depends on the number of entries that would participate. If you have people who would like to participate, we ask that you send an email to wilsonlakeas@gmail.com. Include the names and ages of the kayakers so we can plan accordingly.
It would be very helpful to have volunteers to assist in the organization of the event. Please let us know that you are willing to help by sending a response to the same email address.
