The York County Invasive Aquatic Species Project will hold a Fall Symposium on November 17, 2016 at the Anderson Learning Center on Bradeen Street in Springvale. This will be a wrap up of this year’s activities and will include displays by participants of “tools”, methods, etc. that they have found or developed for making Plant Patrolling/Weed Watching easier or better, for training or engaging new volunteers, or for raising awareness about lake or watershed issues.
If you are interested in protecting Wilson Lake from the threats posed by invasive species, plan on attending this meeting, hosted by Laurie Callahan.
