This year we will designate the week of July 7 to 14 as the Wilson Lake Association’s effort to clean up the most heavily traveled roads around the lake. Volunteers will be asked to sign up for a small section of Garvin Road, Route 109 or Young’s Ridge Road (up to the boat ramp). Bags will be available at the meeting and volunteers may take their filled bags to the Transfer Station or leave them along the side of the road for pick-up.

Volunteers are advised to dress appropriately with boots, long sleeved shirts and pants. Gloves are helpful for your protection. Ticks are plentiful this year so repellant is a wise choice as well. We do not expect you to go deep into the road side to retrieve trash and be sure to watch for traffic, especially if you have youngsters helping!
